You know we all have done things to hurt others and we all have been hurt. We may not even mean to hurt someone else but because we are not perfect and we can be selfish we do things without thinking about the repercussions. We probably should all wear a red ribbon! I am so glad that we have a God that loves us as we are and he is constantly doing work in us. I am so thankful for friends and family that are forgiving of me when I make a mistake or loose my temper and say things that I know hurt them.
The family of the little girl was so relieved that she was going to be fine. They even called up the other woman of the horse that kicked out to tell her the good news. They had a forgiving spirit and they wanted the lady to know that they held no bad feelings towards her. It was just an accident. The healing process began for all involved after those kind words were spoken.
Mark 11:25 NIV
